Downtown Winter Garden
Downtown Winter Garden along Plant Street has undergone a significant revitalization over the past two decades. The area features locally owned restaurants, shops, a farmers market (Saturday mornings), a historic opera house (the Garden Theatre), and a walkable streetscape. The downtown area gives Winter Garden a small-town feel within the larger Orlando metro.

The West Orange Trail
The West Orange Trail is a paved multi-use trail that runs approximately 22 miles from downtown Winter Garden through Apopka and connects to other Central Florida trail systems. The trail passes directly through downtown Winter Garden and is a major amenity for runners, cyclists, and walkers.

Winter Garden is adjacent to the Horizon West master-planned area. Some addresses that say "Winter Garden" may actually be in unincorporated Orange County or Horizon West.

Some addresses in the broader Winter Garden area use a Winter Garden mailing address but may be in unincorporated areas with different services and school assignments.
